I'm thinking mini

A little sewing project just for me.

I made the pink quilt from old linens and vintage sheets.

 I have been meaning to finish the green mini quilt for awhile now.

(the top was made by a member from the guild)

advent calendars

This year I decided to use the fabric advent calendars I had made a few years ago. I like to do something a little different each year so for this December I put clues in the pockets so each morning the girls can choose a pocket to find a clue and match it to a gift in the treasure chest. The biggest excitement came from the coupons. They are for things like extra computer time, choose the game we play, a special treat or pick the movie on movie night. They really enjoyed it and so did I!
