a little something

I was so inspired by my flea market goodies that I had to start a little embroidery project of my own. I found this sweet girl while searching online for who knows what awhile back. I'm trying to fill a space in the girls room. I'll post the wall when I finish.

flea market finds

I went to the rose bowl flea market this past weekend with my mom. I haven't been there in 12 years I think. It's crazy! Great stuff, but way over priced and crowed. But we had a good time becoming overwhelmed. I found these little treasures. The feedsack butterflies have been made into a pillow case. The super sweet embroidery is a crib sheet. I had to have it. I think I will work it into a quilt somehow. It reminded me how much I love to embroider.
