mini things
These were for a holiday swap with the guild. It was the first time making mug rugs, I'll have to say they were quick and fun to make. I'll definitely make more of those. The mini quilt was a quilt as you go. I got the idea from a baby quilt the guild made.

vintage sheet wishing
My vintage sheet dream quilt.... This sweet summer quilt is on the bed of my idaho mama. She inherited it from a trailer that was on her property. It was love at first sight. It started my vintage sheet obsession. So I keep collecting to someday have enough to have my very own sweet summer quilt!
I think it might be soon!!

LAMQG solids challenge
The LAMQG solids challenge was to create a quilt using the Robert Kaufman kona dusty charm pack given to us added only one solid. The binding had to be solid as well but the back could be whatever we wanted. So after days of contemplating I decided to go with an applique design. So I hand cut about 55 different butterfly shapes and appliqued them on. I used "flesh" kona solid for the background. I'm in love with this quilt. I was a little nervous because this was my first time machine quilting. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
quilt size: 60x60 batting: bamboo, cotton blend
